I love knitting hats! I started knitting hats because I was diagnosed with Lymphoma. I was used to being an extremely active person and I found it hard to slow down as I needed to. So I started knitting and found I especially enjoy hats. I have many medical appointments and long treatments and bringing my knitting helps the time fly by.

I have kept the price of my hats as low as possible. My yarn is $22 a skein, so basically I am just covering the cost of materials and shipping.

I have a backgroud in textiles. I have taught college level weaving and textile dying and I was a production upholstery weaver. The good thing about knitting is it is much more portable than a loom!

My son helped me with the name of my business and the names of my hats. I hope you have as much fun with your hat as I have had making it!
